Plano Chamber’s Women’s Division Summit Returns August 27 to Celebrate the Women Who Shaped Yesterday and Inspire the Leaders of Tomorrow
PLANO, TX – August 4, 2026 — The Plano Chamber of Commerce Women’s Division will host its annual Women’s Division Summit on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hope Center in Plano.
Centered around the theme, Inspired by Yesterday. Built for Tomorrow., this year’s summit will celebrate the legacy of women who paved the way while exploring the future of leadership, innovation, workforce development, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in today’s business landscape.
“The Women’s Division Summit is more than a conference—it’s an opportunity for women to connect, learn, and leave inspired to lead with confidence,” said Assia Mahmood, Women’s Division Chair. “As the workplace continues to evolve, we’re creating meaningful conversations that honor the women who came before us while equipping today’s leaders for what’s ahead.”
The summit will feature an exceptional lineup of speakers and interactive experiences, including:
Keynote Speaker: Michelle Miller
Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, Michelle Miller will deliver the keynote address, sharing insights on leadership, innovation, and navigating change in today’s rapidly evolving business environment.
Keynote Speaker: Lisa M. Ong, PCC, CPA
Award-winning leadership coach and Founder of Wishing Out Loud LLC, Lisa Ong will present “Connect With Confidence: Your Story, Your Strength, Your Future.” Her session will help attendees communicate their strengths, build authentic relationships, and confidently create new opportunities using practical strategies and emerging technologies.
Live She Busy Podcast
Returning as a Women’s Division Summit favorite, the She Busy Podcast, hosted by Assia Mahmood, will feature a live conversation with Dr. Cortney Baker, Founder and CEO of KidsCare Home Health.
From launching her company in 2003 as the sole therapist serving 10 patients to leading a nationally recognized healthcare organization with nearly 1,300 employees across eight states, Dr. Baker will share lessons on entrepreneurship, resilience, leadership, and building a people-first culture.

The summit will also feature a panel discussion with influential women leaders representing healthcare, education, and business, including:
