Plano Chamber of Commerce Announces State of Plano Education Event Featuring Dr. Theresa Williams and Student-Led Panel

PLANO, TX – February 10, 2025 – The Plano Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the State of Plano Education, taking place on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Marriott at Legacy Town Center in Plano, TX. This signature event will bring together educators, business leaders, and community members for an insightful discussion on the state of education in Plano and its impact on workforce development and economic growth.
The event will feature Dr. Theresa Williams, Superintendent of Plano ISD, as the keynote speaker, who will be interviewed by Nancy Humphrey, Plano ISD Board President. The discussion will provide an inside look into Plano ISD’s strategic initiatives, challenges, and opportunities in education. Following the keynote, David Jones, Principal of Plano East Senior High School, will moderate a panel discussion with four Plano ISD students, offering a firsthand perspective on the current educational experience and future aspirations.
