Plano Chamber of Commerce Announces 80th Anniversary Celebration
Honoring Eight Decades of Business Leadership, Community Impact, and Growth
Plano, TX – December 1, 2025 – The Plano Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of its 80th Anniversary Celebration, marking eight decades of service, leadership, and advocacy for the Plano business community. Since its founding in 1946, the Chamber has played a vital role in driving economic growth, supporting small business success, and cultivating the leaders who shape Plano’s future.
Throughout 2026, the Plano Chamber will commemorate this milestone with a year-long celebration featuring legacy storytelling, community engagement, and special recognitions that highlight the people and businesses who helped build Plano into one of the most dynamic cities in Texas.
“Eighty years represents generations of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community champions who believed in the power of connection,” said Kelle Marsalis, CCE, IOM, President & CEO of the Plano Chamber of Commerce. “This anniversary is a chance to honor their vision while looking forward to the next era of innovation, collaboration, and growth.”
The celebration will officially kick off at the Plano Chamber’s Annual Meeting & 80th Anniversary Celebration on January 22, 2026, where members will come together for an inspiring program, fireside chat, and reflections on the Chamber’s continued legacy of leadership.
The Chamber will also unveil its commemorative 80th Anniversary logo, introduce a new storytelling series highlighting key milestones and member stories, and host special events throughout 2026 to mark this historic year.
