Plano Chamber Announces 2025 Best of Plano Award Recipients

 Plano, TX – October 20, 2025 – The Plano Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Best of Plano Awards, presented by Medical City Plano. The awards will be celebrated during an elegant evening event on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM at the Marriott at Legacy Town Center.

Each year, Best of Plano honors the remarkable individuals, businesses, and organizations that exemplify leadership, service, and dedication to the Plano community.

The 2025 honorees are:

Citizens of the Year: Mayor John & Joa Muns, City of Plano

ATHENA Award: Marta Lilly, The Hendrick Scholarship Foundation

Distinguished Leadership Award: Chief Ed Drain, Plano Police Department

Young Professional of the Year: Kendall Rowden, Children’s Health

Small Businessperson of the Year: Larry Goldstein, Catering By Larry

Hendrick Scholarship Foundation Boswell Award: Bob Kehr, Kehr Technologies

Outstanding Corporate Citizen of the Year: Boeing

Community Partner of the Year: City House

“The Best of Plano Awards is one of our most meaningful traditions,” said Kelle Marsalis, CCE, IOM, President & CEO of the Plano Chamber of Commerce. “This event celebrates the people and organizations that define what leadership and community impact look like in Plano. Their commitment to excellence strengthens our city and inspires others to lead with purpose.”
