The Plano Chamber would like to spotlight Ravi Verma, Founder and CEO of Org Whisperers, committed member of the Plano Chamber of Commerce as of this year.
We asked Ravi a few questions about his business, Chamber membership, and his favorite local spots in the community!
1. Tell us about your business. What do you do, and who do you serve?
We help technology-driven organizations that want to deliver value to their customers and investors without sacrificing the well-being of their people.
2. What inspired you to start or join this business?
What inspired me to start my business was the disappointment I felt during 15+ years in the tech industry as I saw how unhelpful patterns caused the needless destruction of human potential. I choose to believe that people come to work with the intent of doing their best work, being their best self and delivering value to customers and investors. Yet, sometimes, poorly designed systems can make great people do things that are not very helpful. I made it my mission to disrupt this needless destruction of human potential and founded my organization – Org Whisperers to achieve my mission.
3. What do you enjoy most about the work you do?
Helping people, teams and organizations overcome barriers and reach their true potential.
4. How has being a Plano Chamber member supported your business or community involvement?
Making new connections, understanding the challenges people are facing and getting more awareness about my offerings.
5. In what ways does your business give back or make an impact in the community?
We have a non-profit that provides free training, coaching and mentoring to underserved and disadvantaged communities to help them find and succeed at jobs in the tech industry
6. What’s one goal or focus you’re excited about in the year ahead?
Offering simple, practical tips and tools to people who are navigating how to integrate disruptive technological breakthroughs like AI into their business in a way that maximizes ROI for customers and investors.
7. Bonus: What’s a favorite local Plano spot, hidden gem, or go-to you love?
Pinkberry on Tollway and Parker
