Member Spotlight: Mommies in Need

The Plano Chamber membership team is thrilled to present our NEW monthly Member Spotlights! Each month, we will be highlighting different Plano Chamber of Commerce members to continue connecting our members with each other and the Plano community at large.

The Plano Chamber would like to welcome and spotlight member, Mommies In Need. Heather Wagemann, our Membership Engagement Manager, asked CEO & Founder, Natalie Boyle, a few questions about her non-profit, membership, and her role in the community.

1. What would you like readers to know about Mommies In Need and what you specialize in?

Mommies In Need is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the mission of caring for kids so that families can access healthcare. We support families by providing safe, loving childcare from expert staff so family members can get the medical care they need. To date, we have provided more than 35,000 hours of free childcare to families in Dallas and Colin Counties!

2. Why did you choose to join the Plano Chamber of Commerce?

We feel it is valuable to get to know our community, both to spread awareness of the services we provide and to form relationships with both large and small businesses to increase our impact

3. Tell us about your involvement in the community.

In addition to my work with Mommies In Need, I sit on the board of the Non-Profit CEO Council, and am a member of the North Texas Early Education Alliance.

4. What part of your work environment is your favorite?

My favorite thing about working at Mommies In Need is creating and maintaining a culture of collaboration, innovation, and authenticity. We nurture big ideas and creative, fearless people and celebrate productive failure as an important part of the process of creating and implementing something new. I love our spirit of collaboration and that I am constantly getting to meet good people doing amazing things to enrich our community.
