The Plano Chamber of Commerce is happy to support Plano ISD by supplying the new-to-the-district teachers with items from Plano Chamber members. The teachers received their items during the Plano ISD’s New Teacher Welcome & Orientation in early August as the teachers learn about Plano ISD culture, connecting teachers to key district personnel and welcoming them to the Plano ISD family.
Veronica Andrulat, Program Manager of the Plano Chamber, asked our Dedicated to Caring Sponsor, some questions about their company and why the Plano Chamber and Plano ISD is so important to them. Plano ISD Teacher Bag Sponsor, Connections Wellness Group, will share more about their company!
What would you like readers to know about your company and what you do?
Our mission is to connect you to meaningful, life improving solutions which promote positive change for your overall wellness. Providing convenient care that is cost effective, accessible, and holistically enriching without compromise. Our therapists are all master’s level licensed clinicians who are passionate about helping others and the community. We have complimentary assessments, same day appointments, and can typically get an individual started in our program the day after their assessment has been completed.
How long have you been involved in the Plano Chamber of Commerce (as a business) and why did you choose to join the Plano Chamber of Commerce?
Connections Wellness Group in Plano recently joined the Plano Chamber of Commerce in March 2022. We joined the Chamber to increase our opportunities in reaching the members of the Plano community as well as to network with various businesses to broadcast our mental health services and help those in need.
What is your current/future involvement with Plano ISD/the community?
Since we offer adolescent and adult mental health services, we would love to be a valuable resource to all of Plano ISD, including the counselors, nurses, teachers, students, families, and all employees. When a Plano ISD student completes our program, our clinical business development liaison personally delivers the students discharge summary (with a signed release of information) to the school counselor, so the counselor has more insight into the progress the student made throughout the program.

Connections Wellness Group in Plano offers outpatient mental health services which includes PHP/IOP day treatment programs (group therapy, family / couple sessions, medication management) and private practice services (individual therapy, psychiatry/medication management). Our PHP/IOP program is actively accepting new clients ages 12+ and our private practice therapist is accepting in person clients ages 6-18yo. We also have therapists and psychiatrists who see various ages virtually. As we continue to grow, we will be offering more specialized services.
