Spotlight: Caddo Office Reimagined

The Plano Chamber membership team is thrilled to present our  monthly Member Spotlights! Each month, we will be highlighting different Plano Chamber of Commerce members to continue connecting our members with each other and the Plano community at large.

The Plano Chamber would like to welcome and spotlight, Caddo Office Reimagined. Heather Wagemann, our Membership Engagement Manager, asked President & Owner, Tim Slaughter, a few questions about his company, Chamber membership, and their role in the community.

1. What would you like readers to know about Caddo Office Reimagined, and what you specialize in?

Caddo (rhymes with “shadow”) is named after a loyal, courageous, alligator-chasing dog!  As a small business, we recognize the courage it takes to just START a business.  It’s easy to lease an office at any of our 8 stand-alone, neighborhood office buildings across the metroplex!  Our private office suites have 4 solid walls and a door.  Our leases are month to month, with only a 60 day cancellation notice required.  Free wifi, 24 hour access, and conference room use are member benefits.  For those who aren’t quite ready for an office, we offer a Social (co-working) Membership, and a Day Office for those who just need space for a day.  We want to see businesses thrive!

2. Why did you choose to join Plano Chamber of Commerce?

When we purchased our North Plano location from Scott Yeager in 2019, he instilled in us the belief that active Chamber membership was a key to our success.  Our building managers are valuable connectors not only for their building members, but, for the chamber as well.

3. Tell us about your involvement in the community

We consider ourselves members of the neighborhoods in which we are located.  As such, we partner with local, neighborhood-based non-profit organizations to help serve the needs in those communities.  We have relationships with Flower Mound Women in Business, Journey to Dream, the Lakewood Area Childhood PTA, and Network of Community Ministries, to name a few.

4. What is your favorite part of your current work environment?

Our corporate leadership team has consolidated into our Plano South (Mapleshade Lane) location, so it’s great to have everyone in one building.  Seeing co-workers on a regular basis (post-covid) has been great for morale and productivity.  Additionally, we all enjoy getting to meet and interact those businesses that have chosen to office with us.  We love helping small businesses thrive, and understand the need for focus, flexibility, and balance in the workplace.   One of the best parts of the current work environment for staff, as well as for the members who lease with us?  We get to “work close to home, not AT home,” and “get stuff done, and be home in time for dinner!”
