Plano Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Leah White as Director of Plano Works Leadership Foundation

Plano, TX – August 5, 2024 – The Plano Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Leah White as the Director of the Plano Works Leadership Foundation. The Foundation, established in 2021, serves as the philanthropic arm of the Plano Chamber of Commerce, providing a robust structure for individuals, businesses, corporate partners, and foundations to support the Chamber’s leadership programs and initiatives.

Leah White brings a wealth of experience and a deep admiration for the City of Plano to her new role. As a graduate of Leadership Plano Class 39 and a member of the Plano Independent School District Diversity Advisory Committee, Leah is well-versed in the community’s needs and opportunities.

Leah holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of North Texas and a Master of Social Work with a focus on nonprofit administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her professional journey and academic background equip her with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead the Plano Works Leadership Foundation effectively.

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Leah now resides in Plano with her husband, two daughters, and their dog. Her dedication to community service and passion for nonprofit work make her a perfect fit for the Foundation, which is committed to fostering strong leadership to ensure sustained growth and prosperity for Plano and the North Texas region.
