Plano Chamber of Commerce to Host “Game Changer: The Stars & Plano” Featuring Dallas Stars President and CEO Brad Alberts
PLANO, Texas — October 13, 2026 — The Plano Chamber of Commerce will host Game Changer: The Stars & Plano: A Conversation on Business and Economic Opportunity on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at Sandman Signature in Plano. The event will feature Dallas Stars President and CEO Brad Alberts, joined by Plano resident John Muns and other special guests.
The event will bring together business and community leaders for a discussion about the Dallas Stars’ plans in Plano, the proposed arena at the former Shops at Willow Bend, and the potential implications for economic development and business activity throughout the community.
As plans for the proposed arena and surrounding redevelopment continue to generate discussion, the Plano Chamber is providing an opportunity for attendees to hear directly from Dallas Stars leadership about the organization’s vision for Plano and the opportunities and considerations associated with a project of this scale.
“Conversations about Plano’s future are important to our business community,” said Kelle Marsalis, President and CEO of the Plano Chamber of Commerce. “Game Changer will provide an opportunity to hear directly from Dallas Stars leadership, learn more about the vision for the proposed development, and better understand what it could mean for Plano.”
The discussion will explore the Dallas Stars’ interest in Plano, the broader vision for the proposed arena and surrounding development, and potential connections to local businesses, economic activity, and the community.
