Member Spotlight: Ellie Mental Health

The Plano Chamber membership team is thrilled to present our  monthly Member Spotlights! Each month, we will be highlighting different Plano Chamber of Commerce members to continue connecting our members with each other and the Plano community at large.

The Plano Chamber would like to welcome and spotlight, Ellie Mental Health. Heather Wagemann, our Membership Engagement Manager, asked Clinical Director, Kimberly Kline, a few questions about their business, Chamber membership, and role in the community.

1. What would you like readers to know about Ellie Mental Health and its specialties?

We would like the readers to know that we are a resource for outpatient Counseling and Mental Wellness. We opened the doors to our beautiful office space in Plano Dec. 8th, 2023.

We have worked hard to ensure that all the most important factors involved in mental healthcare are held to the highest standards. (HIPAA compliance, Documentation, Ongoing CEUs, and Quality of Providers is outstanding).

Creating a welcoming, compassionate, and creative atmosphere for our clients is paramount for our therapists. Providing the most up-to-date, innovative, and evidence-based treatment strategies makes us stand out. We are so impressed by and proud of our Clinicians.

We serve humans over the age of 8 and will work with the parents on parenting strategies for those who have children younger than 8. We Specialize in offering tool-based therapy, including HRV training, EEG assisted Meditation techniques, ADD/HD focus training, Family support, Divorce support including mediation, Trauma recovery Counseling, Couples Therapy, Sex and intimacy Therapy, and Groups. We are LGBTQIA+ informed and specialize in offering their community support and resources.

2. Why did you choose to join the Plano Chamber of Commerce?

We are fortunate to have the best Chamber of Commerce in all North Texas, right here in Plano.  Joining the Plano Chamber of Commerce and embracing the Plano community was the best decision we have made as a local business. Promoting and engaging with all associated businesses has been so fun and we are so impressed with the quality of our Plano Chamber members.

3. Tell us about your involvement in the community.

We are reaching out to our schools, hospitals, local doctors, and Psychiatrists, as well as our Rec Centers and large apartment complexes to help share the benefits of Emotional Wellness. 

4. What is your favorite part of your current work environment?

Our offices at 5700 W Plano Pkwy are so amazing!  Every office has floor to ceiling windows and our view CANNOT be beat.  We look out onto the golf course and White Rock Creek.  We can watch the birds and waterfowl play daily while the trees bloom and change colors all year round.  It is my new Happy Place.
