1. What first made you interested in participating in Leadership Plano?

I had just taken the position of Executive Director at the ArtCentre of Plano, and my board members encouraged me to apply.

2. What is the most memorable part of your experience (or what is something that was happening in Plano that you remember about that year)?

Hurricane Katrina had just happened in New Orleans and our class project was working on a Habitat for Humanity home for a family that had relocated to Plano from New Orleans. We also worked together on Class 23’s own, Missy Bender’s school board campaign!

3. Why do you think LP is so impactful for our community?

Just LOOK at the leaders that have emerged from this program. It is a wonderful group to be a part of – and the success of the program can easily be seen in its alumni.

4. What is one thing you can attribute to LP that is a success in your life or career?

I think it is the people I met through Leadership Plano, while in the class, and serving on the board…what a wonderful network of amazing people!

5. Why was your class the “Best Class Ever”?

It goes without saying that Class 23 was the VERY best class – the people, our leader, Carole Greisdorf, and all that we have been able to accomplish.
