Daily Business Bulletin – April 30, 2020

In order to keep you informed on the evolving impact of COVID-19 on our local community, the Plano Chamber will be publishing updates every weekday as the Daily Business Bulletin. We will share the top news items that you need to read to stay up-to-date on important health, community, and business issues as they develop.

LOCAL UPDATE
- Although Phase 1 of re-opening includes libraries, the City of Plano will remain closed through May 17th.

STATE UPDATE
- The statewide shelter in place expires today, Thursday, April 30th but social distancing guidelines remain in place.
- Phase I: Beginning tomorrow, Friday, May 1st, restaurants, retailers, malls, and movie theaters can open with up to 25% capacity. Hospitals and doctors’ offices have loosened restrictions on procedures that can now take place, but they must reserve capacity for COVID-19 patients.
