STATE UPDATE

• On April 27^th, Gov. Abbott will announce additional new industries that may reopen.  That may include businesses such as restaurants and movie theaters, with new safety precautions put in place.
• As we anticipate Governor Abbott’s economy re-opening announcement on Monday, April 27th, we would like to share the Texas Restaurant Association’s Texas Restaurant Promise and safety guiding documents. Also, the National Restaurant Association has made its ServSafe Food Handler Program available to all restaurants free of charge through April 30, linked below.

• The Texas Department of Health and Human Services has also provided guidance for employers, employees, and customers of reopened retail.
