JOB DESCRIPTION
The Revenue Growth Specialist will lead revenue generation and engagement efforts for the Chamber and Plano Works Foundation, utilizing verticals in dues, non-dues and charitable giving.

This position will engage current Plano Chamber members to fully utilize member benefits and opportunities through an enhanced investment strategy, develop and manage a comprehensive revenue plan, and manage the sales and retention functions for the organization. This position directly impacts the large-employer or top investor members, while also supporting events and programs that our members engage in.

This role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects, and maintain a robust pipeline of companies. Willingness to work in a team structure to promote and grow the organization is key, with a proven track record of developing and implementing sales, retention and growth strategies.

This position may also be required to lead and manage top investor programs and engagement programs like YPP, The Exchange, and Workforce Roundtables until an engagement manager is hired.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Growth – Membership
• Develop, implement and track a recruitment and retention strategy for top investors, customizable to specific groups based on size, investment or benefit utilization
• Report regularly to President & CEO on revenue goals and performance
• Manage membership database integrity
• Attend Chamber and Community functions to engage with members and prospects

Revenue Growth – Sponsorship
• Develop and implement plan to seek sponsors for major events and programs in partnership with program leads and President/CEO
• Create sponsorship menu for new programs and track benefits usage
• Create and encourage total investment strategy for top investors
• Create 501c3 fundraising plan with Foundation Director and support efforts to grow foundation budget

Investor Support & Engagement (some items temporary)
• Young Professionals Plano – annual sponsorship, quarterly committee meetings, governance review
• The Exchange – Secure quarterly host for top-investor executive networking
• Major event support as needed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following skills & experience:
• Three to five years of demonstrated success in sales and development, non-profit experience preferred
• A four-year degree is preferred
• Ample experience with database or other CRMs
• Staff management and coaching
• Outstanding project management and organizational skills, with the necessary attention to detail for driving complex, multi-faceted projects forward and on time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to attend community and business events to aid in building a robust pipeline
• The ability to convey complex ideas through brief, simple materials
• Exceptional ability to plan and prioritize multiple cross-regional/functional demands by exhibiting strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Highly positive and enthusiastic style; capable of motivating others
• Excellent customer service skills and an interest in public speaking
• Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include a couple of nights per year and rare weekends
• Ability to travel about 5% of the year
