Additionally, each program offers opportunities for increased visibility through sponsorship and volunteer opportunities. Weekly

Friday Morning at the Chamber – The goal of Friday Morning at the Chamber is to build personal and professional relationships with other members while exchanging leads, business tips, and referrals.

Monthly

Business After Hours – Develop new business relationships in a relaxed environment by joining other busy professionals after hours.

Public Policy Committee – This committee meets monthly to discuss legislative issues important to Plano and North Texas to sustain a competitive advantage for businesses and residents in the area.

Success in Business – Learn over lunch during this monthly speaker series, which offers attendees an insider’s view of specialized business topics.

Women’s Division – This program promotes women in business through monthly networking and educational luncheons, as well as professional development programs.

Young Professionals of Plano (YPP) – This division of the Plano Chamber focuses on young professionals between the ages of 25-40. Our goal is to identify and grow emerging leaders, to attract and retain diverse young talent, and to engage that talent in civic, social, and educational opportunities within Collin County.

Quarterly

Plano First Quarterly Luncheon Series – These luncheons feature top-notch speakers who provide timely information regarding the regional business climate to our audience of business executives, small business owners, enterprising entrepreneurs, and civic leaders.

Women’s Division After Hours – This networking event is targeted to the needs of professional women and community volunteers. Held at member businesses, the Women’s Division After Hours events are a great way to build relationships and expand your network.

Biannually

Plano First Executive Breakfast Series – Held twice annually, this intimate breakfast event provides updates on key issues impacting our Plano businesses, as well as unparalleled networking with local business leaders and elected officials.

Annually

Best of Plano – We are proud to recognize Plano’s best and brightest business and community leaders at our annual Best of Plano awards dinner. Held each fall, this event brings together the community in celebration of the companies and individuals that make Plano a city of excellence.

Golf Tournament – Held each spring, the golf tournament offers an excellent opportunity to expand your professional network as you enjoy fresh air and friendly competition on the greens.

Leadership Plano Distinguished Leadership Award Ceremony – This annual event honors a Leadership Plano alumnus who has shown exceptional servant leadership in the Plano community.

Biennially

Collin County Days – Members of the Collin County chambers of commerce as well as elected officials, community leaders, and business professionals gather together in Austin every other year to participate in Collin County Days. Over 200 representatives meet with legislators and area elected officials to learn more about the important issues facing our county.

Plano Legislative Days – This joint effort between Plano ISD, City of Plano, and the Plano Chamber creates a forum of citizens, elected officials, and professionals working together. Held in Austin during the legislative session, programming includes speakers, networking, and meetings with legislators.
