Members of the Collin County chambers of commerce, as well as elected officials, community leaders, and business professionals, participate in a two-day program in Austin every other year to kick off the new legislative session. Over 200 representatives from across the county meet with legislators and area elected officials to learn more about the important issues facing our county.
The two-day program begins with a luncheon featuring updates on the current legislative session presented by elected officials, followed by additional speakers, break-out sessions, and a reception. The following day will include a trip to the Capitol to be introduced in the House and Senate chambers and meetings with local legislators.
The 2021 virtual Collin County Days highlighted the legislative items in discussion and helped you become an advocate for Collin County. Thank you to our elected officials Senator Angela Paxton, Senator Drew Spring, Representative Justin Holland, Representative Jeff Leach, Representative Candy Noble, Representative Matt Shaheen, and Representative Scott Sanford.
Join us again for Collin County Days in 2023!
