FEDERAL UPDATE

• IRS says Americans will have until noon Wednesday, May 13th to seek a direct deposit of stimulus checks.

STATE UPDATE

• Texas began the Phase I reopening of its economy on Friday, May 1st with the addition of hair and nail salons, Friday, May 8th.  Governor Abbott has indicated Phase II, which would include new industries and expanded capacities for those businesses currently open, may occur as early as May 18, if the data supports this increase.
