Plano Sister Cities Meeting
Speaker Jim Falk, President of the World Affairs Council

Plano Sister Cities invites you to hear Jim Falk, President of the World Affairs Council of Dallas Fort Worth, on August 31, 2006, 7:30 a.m. Plano Chamber of Commerce, 1200 E 15th St, Plano, TX, 75074.

The non-profit, nonpartisan World Affairs Council was established in 1951 in Dallas and in 1961 in Fort Worth to educate citizens on crucial issues of international affairs and foreign policy. In 2006, the two Councils unified to create a strong regional organization. Today, the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth presents more than 80 programs a year to enlighten and entertain North Texans.

They have hosted heads of state and government, scores of ministerial and secretarial level dignitaries, opposition leaders of an equivalent level, and literally thousands of other diplomats, politicians, military leaders, business pioneers, scientists and outstanding figures of the arts. Whether your interest is international business, culture, politics or foreign policy, the Council offers programs to broaden your horizons. Their members sit down with today's global newsmakers and gain the insight, understanding and information needed to keep abreast of international affairs.

Please come hear what the Council is doing in 2006-07, in a special presentation by Jim Falk. Please RSVP to, Korey@koreykoop.com.
