MasterTech Auto Care has seen two positive outcomes since becoming a member of the Plano Chamber of Commerce. The first positive was to increase revenue, which was one of our main reasons for joining. Since joining the Plano Chamber 8 months ago, we have measured a 10% increase, that is directly attributed to the new business from Chamber members. The second positive is the plentitude of businesses to use for my daily business and personal operations. We have found the Chamber members a great source for all our printing needs, catering, CPA, billing system, etc. You name it, and there is a Member of the Chamber that can accomplish the job. When we use Chamber members, we feel that we are conducting business with friends.

Being evolved with the Chamber as been great for me. I am a District Manager for the Better Business Bureau of Metro Dallas and many of the business owners in the Chamber are the same type of "civic minded" business owners that care about business ethics and treating people right. Those are the same type of business owners we want to join the BBB. Being able to network allows for others to put a face to the BBB. The Friday Morning Networking is fun, energetic and is a great start to my workday.

The Plano Chamber of Commerce has been an excellent organization for our business. We have benefited from our membership in many ways. The Chamber has enhanced our visibility in the community and has helped us get to know several businesses through ribbon cuttings and the many Business After Hours events. The Chamber has an excellent staff lead by President, Brad Shanklin. We enjoy working and participating in the many chamber activities.

I first got to know Barry Grangier (a fellow Plano Chamber of Commerce member) when I volunteered to help with a fundraiser. That friendship turned into my largest referral ever…nearly $12,000 in revenue. That job, in August and September, 2005, not only helped me retire some company debt, and purchase new equipment, it also gave me the ability to pay for my daughters wedding!
All of this because of a bond that was formed through the Chamber of Commerce!
