In the fall of 2009, a small group of businesses joined forces to improve business opportunities through local relationships. These relationships continue to grow and we would like to include your business.
SEPBA is an alliance of businesses unified to improving business opportunities, developing local relationships, and positively impacting our community and the environment.
One of the primary goals of the Southeast Plano Business Alliance is to expand business opportunities for our member companies. In order to accelerate these efforts, we will be jump starting 2012 with a Procurement Executive Forum where sourcing representatives from Alcatel-Lucent, Raytheon, General Electric, Texas Instruments and other large area companies will meet with SEPBA members to identify local suppliers and further diversity initiatives by working with MBWE organizations.
A maximum of 30 SEPBA member companies will be able to participate in the Procurement Executive Forum to be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Plano/Richardson. Registrants for the forum will be required to complete a 4-step registration form including providing a current company profile. These profiles will be used by the large company sourcing representatives to learn more about your company in advance of the event.
You’ll be able to select up to 3 target companies where you’ll have 3 minutes to earn the right for a potential follow-up meeting. The two hour event will feature three roundtables that will take approximately 30 minutes each where 6-8 member companies will meet with a procurement representative from one of the target companies. No PowerPoint, just your best 3 minute introduction by one of your executives or salespeople. Only one representative from each SEPBA member company, please.
Don’t delay! Deadline to register is February 1st.
